JOHOR, July 8 – A school van carrying 21 students was involved in an accident on the North-South Expressway (NSE) near the Bandar Dato Onn exit yesterday. Johor police have confirmed the incident, stating that the van was rear-ended after a trailer ahead experienced engine trouble and stalled on the highway.
According to authorities, the trailer driver noticed the engine malfunction and pulled over to the side of the road, activating hazard lights to alert other motorists. However, the school van, travelling behind, was unable to stop in time and collided with the trailer.
