As the summer holidays wind down and the excitement of a new school year builds, Valley Health is stepping up to support local students and families. We're launching a heartwarming back-to-school supply drive to ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed.
Why Donate? The cost of school supplies can be a significant burden for many families. By donating, you're directly impacting a child's ability to learn and thrive. A well-stocked pencil case, notebooks, and essential stationery can make a world of difference in a student’s confidence and academic performance. Valley Health is committed to building a stronger, healthier community, and supporting education is a vital part of that mission.
Themed Donation Days – Fun and Easy Giving! We’ve made donating as easy and enjoyable as possible! Throughout the drive, Valley Health is hosting themed donation days. Check our Facebook page (Link to Valley Health Facebook Page) daily for a new theme and specific items we're collecting. This keeps things fresh and gives you a fun challenge each day!
What We Need: While all school supplies are gratefully accepted, here's a glimpse of what's particularly needed:
- Pencils & Pens (lots of them!)
- Notebooks & Exercise Books
- Rulers, Erasers, and Sharpeners
- Glue Sticks & Liquid Glue
- Highlighters & Colouring Pencils
- Backpacks & Lunchboxes
- Scientific Calculators
- Art Supplies (crayons, paints, etc.)
Where to Donate: Donations can be dropped off at any Valley Health location during regular business hours. Look for our designated donation bins – they’ll be clearly marked!
